Home - EasyShare Help WikiMarkelSoft ezShare - drag n' drop your iTunes Music Library tracks from one PC to another. Easily share any tracks from your iTunes Music Library or files or directory of files with another PC. Tracks from your iTunes Music Library shared are automatically added to the destination PC's iTunes Music Library unless otherwise specified.

How It Works:
  • Just drag n' drop iTunes tracks or file-system files or directories of files to ezShare.
  • Then select form the a list of PC's running ezShare on your network.
  • ezShare will transfer the tracks to the destination PC.
  • The destination PC ezShare will automatically add the tracks to iTunes unless this option is turned off on the destination PC (see below).

ezShare PC discovery:
  • ezShare automatically discovers all PCs running ezShare on your network using JGroups.

Special Firewall Issues:
  • If you are using a firewall, FTP port 21 must be open or port forwarding must be on port 21.
  • Use your Firewall's browser interface, usually at http://192.168.1.1, to open or forward the port.

To send files:
  • Start ezShare on your PC.
  • Start ezShare on the PC sending files to.
  • Drag n' drop files onto the target area to send OR use the File menu to select a file or use Windows Explorer to select files.
    The easiest way to share iTunes Music Library tracks with another PC is to:
    • Open iTunes
    • Select the iTunes tracks to share
    • Drag n' drop them on the ezShare target images.
  • Once file(s) to share are dropped, a list of PC's running ezShare is displayed. Select a PC to send your file(s) to. The files will be sent and automatically added to the destination's iTunes Music Library.
  • Use tiny mode to move ezShare out of the way.

Options:

Home - TuneZip Help WikiAsk before add file to iTunes - this indicates ask before adding any receive file to iTunes. By default, any received file is automatically added to iTunes. If you selected this option, you will be asked whether to add the received file to iTunes.
